Most commuter backpacks spray a temporary chemical DWR coating over regular polyester fabric that degrades within months and leaks through zipper teeth. D-FY.IT One uses a dual barrier system: our proprietary matte polycarbonate D-Shell on the exterior, backed by an integrated 10,000mm hydrostatic head PU liner with ultrasonic heat-welded seams. When rolled twice, it forms an airtight seal that can survive continuous downpours or paddleboard splashes.
